
Update []: Patch 1.300 for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available to download right now on PS5, following a slight delay from its launch on PC. It weighs in at a reasonable 1.5GB on Sony's console.
As previously reported, the update looks to rebalance the RPG's Story Mode difficulty, while also adding player damage and enemy health modifiers for more experienced expeditioners.

Original Story: A new patch for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been revealed, and it makes some pretty interesting changes to how the game is balanced.
Update 1.3.0 is out now on PC, and we assume that it won't be far off on PS5. We'll update and republish this article when it's available to download on Sony's system.
Again, the headline act here is balance — or more specifically, difficulty balance. Firstly, the title's easiest difficulty setting, Story Mode, is actually being made much easier. Both parry and dodge windows are being extended quite dramatically, while incoming damage from enemies is being halved.
Expedition 33 can still be a deceptively tricky title on Story Mode, so it would appear that developer Sandfall Interactive wants to make sure that the experience is even more accessible to a broader range of players.
